Len Chua eco-tourism resort (Len Chua Ecostay) located in Phong Nha commune (Quang Tri) is attracting a large number of visitors with its “straw village” check-in area, realizing the idea of honoring local agricultural products, in accordance with the green, environmentally friendly eco-tourism model.

Mr. Dinh Xuan Hau, owner of Len Chua Ecotourism Resort, said this year’s “straw village” idea comes from the desire to retain the rustic values of his homeland, where rice grains have grown for generations.
“The miniature landscapes of pure agricultural straw and products from local countryside help visitors feel familiar and close… thereby helping us love our homeland more, the people who make rice every day,” Mr. Hau shared.

To create a “straw village” with a hometown feel, Mr. Hau bought straw from farmers after the recent harvest. The straw bundles are carefully selected and processed before being put into the display space to maintain their color and preserve them for a long time.
“Straw village” at Len Chua Ecostay is not only a check-in space to explore, but also tells the story of local agricultural products and gratitude to farmers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, a tourist, said that when she heard that there was a straw village in Len Chua, she was curious and drove nearly 70 kilometers to visit.
“The scent of field straw reminds me of my childhood days. It’s been a long time since I smelled such a fragrant straw. Standing here, I thought I was in a real field. The scent of straw mixed with the fresh air made me feel very excited,” said Ms. Lan Anh.
With a rustic space, Len Chua Ecostay is expected to attract many visitors to check-in during this year’s Lunar New Year.

Rustic straw bundles are neatly rolled and stacked by the skillful hands of the craftsmen to create a very artistic “straw village” but still has a rustic and close feel, bringing the breath of the homeland.
This year, in addition to the unique straw village space, visitors can also visit the flower garden with colorful four-season characteristics such as poppy flowers, star flowers, buckwheat flowers, rough-leaved chrysanthemums… or experience and check-in at the wine cellar and attractive zoo.
